Dieser Anime handelt um das Erstellen eines Animes und die vielen Hürden, die es zu bewältigen gibt. Die OVA um Kuromi und ihr Team zeigt den Stress, den ein Studio eines Animes täglich hat, wie zum Beispiel die Zeichner zum Arbeiten zu bringen, oder die Key Animations fertig zu bekommen, in dem eh zu engen Terminplan. Kuromi, die gerade von der Zeichenschule kommt, bekommt eine Stelle im Studio Petit. Doch schon wird der Produktionsleiter krank und die gesamte Produktion wird Kuromi überlassen, die kurz davor ist aufzugeben. Zum Glück gibt ihr Traum, einen Anime wie "Louis Monde the Third" (Anspielung auf Lupin the III) zu machen, neuen Mut! Sie treibt die Zeichner zum Arbeiten, jedoch ist es fast unmöglich den Termin einzuhalten. Wird Kuromi es trotzdem schaffen?
Der Anime ist witzig gemacht und gibt einen netten Einblick ins Making-Of von Zeichentrickserien.
