Beschreibung:
Der Titel des Originalwerks »Maesetsu!« steht für eine ans Publikum gerichtete Rede oder Erklärung, die als Einführung dient – insbesondere Komiker greifen oft darauf zurück, um das Publikum in Stimmung zu bringen.
Vier junge Frauen – Fubuki, Rin, Mafuyu und Nayuta – träumen davon, genau das zu werden: Komikerinnen. Für den Moment begnügen sie sich damit, neben Teilzeitjobs an ihren Fertigkeiten zu arbeiten und Erfahrungen durch Auftritte in Shibuya, einem Stadtbezirk Tokios, zu sammeln. Dabei haben sie immer ihr Ziel vor Augen: die Bühne des renommierten Theaters »Namba Grand Kagetsu«. Ihr weiter Weg nach oben beginnt, stets unter dem Motto »Lachen macht die Menschen glücklich – und wenn jeder glücklich ist, bin ich es auch«.
Anmerkung:
Die Ausstrahlung sollte ursprünglich im Juli 2020 beginnen, wurde aber aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie verschoben.
