Beschreibung:
»Tamayomi« erzählt die Geschichte zweier Freundinnen, die ihre gemeinsame Leidenschaft zum Baseball verbindet. Während ihrer Jahre an der Mittelschule ist die Pitcherin Yomi Takeda in einem schulübergreifenden Baseball-Turnier zu ihrer eigenen Enttäuschung nicht sehr weit gekommen. Da die Fängerin ihres Teams nicht auf demselben Niveau war wie Yomi, konnte sie zu ihrem Bedauern ihren besonderen Move, nämlich ihren magischen Wurf, nicht zum Einsatz bringen.
Nach der Mittelschule beschließt Yomi daher, mit dem Baseballspielen aufzuhören und geht auf die Shin Koshigaya High School, eine Schule ohne Baseballclub. In dieser Schule trifft Yomi auf ihre einstige Kindheitsfreundin Tamaki Yamazaki, mit der sie als Kind immer Ballfangen spielte. Auch Tamaki spielte während ihrer Jahre an der Mittelschule Baseball in der Position als Fängerin und konnte einst sogar Yomis magischen Wurf fangen! Das Versprechen, das sich die beiden Freundinnen in ihrer Kindheit gegeben haben, könnte nun erfüllt werden: Wieder gemeinsam den Weg des Baseballspiels zu beschreiten!
