Diese wiederentdeckten Technologien aus vergangener Zeit werden alle in der Alchemie-Forschungs-Stadt „Central“ gesammelt, um herauszufinden, ob mit ihrer Hilfe das „Dusk End“ aufgehalten werden kann.Escha ist ein junges Mädchen, welches in der kleinen Stadt „Colseit“ an der Grenze zum Land der Dämmerung wohnt.Sie lernte die Alchemie von ihrer Mutter und nutzt sie nun, um den Menschen in Colseit zu helfen, weshalb sie jetzt der Entwicklungsabteilung zugewiesen wird.Logy ist ein junger Mann, der Alchemie in „Central“ gelernt hat. Nachdem er die neusten Alchemie-Techniken beherrschte, bat er um eine Versetzung in die unterbesetzte Stadt Colseit, um dort von seinen Fähigkeiten als Alchemist Gebrauch zu machen.So traf er auf Escha, als er ebenfalls der Entwicklungsabteilung zugewiesen wurde.Die beiden versprechen sich, ihre Alchemie zusammen zu benutzen und bringen der Entwicklungsabteilung große Erfolge.
